I havnt posted anything in relatively a long time.  But thats because im chillin at home in Hawaii nei.  Yup!!!  I ditched the nyc, the 30 degree weather, the snow storms and the cold, for a steady 76 degree sunny christmas.  So right now ima do a Hawaii post on you guys, I ain't rubbing it in your faces, but I am giving you a taste of paradise ...

Heres something I think people would really dig.  Artist Fred Hart graced me with some of his work, and its dope!!!! Inspired by Ye's latest "808's & Heartbreaks", he takes each track off the album and give us his own interpretation of the song.  If you listen to each song and then look at his artwork, you realize that this is some creative shit.  Freddy went to highschool with me and now is a fine arts student at the University of Arizona.  Talented dude.  Check it ... Slumdog Millionaire

Ironman, The Dark Night, Role Models, and Pineapple express are some of my favorite movies of 2008.  Don't judge me based on those picks haha. Because once in a while I'll enjoy a good film that doesn't involve a super hero or pot smoking.  Last night I spent my $12.50 on this movie.  Slumdog Millionaire.  Its an Indian film, about a boy from the slums who made it on the hindi version of "Who Wants to be a Milliionaire?."  He makes it to the final question, but when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating.  He proves his innocence by telling the story of his life in the slum where he grew up.  Each chapter of his life reveals the key to answer one of the game shows questions. This is an intense film and I do recommend it.  Plus, there are tons of MIA songs throughout the film haha.  Check out a  new MIA cut after the trailer ...

MTVU Woody Awards

First off, i wanna give congratulations to the Punahou Varsity Football team for winning states yesterday night. pretty fukin major deal.  

Anyway its the weekend and i couldnt be happier.  First off,...Legendary Nigo, the founder of bape, will be in the bape soho store today for a book signing.  I wanted to check this out but i probably woke up way to late.  I'm not really a bape fan, but i cant hate.  The dude is an innovator in whatever his does.  If ur in LA tomorrow, he'll be in the cali store.  Second, if your like me and always have your tv set on mtvu you probably heard of the woody awards.  Woody Awards > AMA, Grammys, Oscars, etc.  I swear to god, each one of the artist that performed on this award show is on my ipod playlist right now.  Asher Roth, The Cool Kids, Lykke Li, Santogold, and Q tip (tribe is always constant in any of my playlist).  Check out some footage ...
