Slumdog Millionaire

Ironman, The Dark Night, Role Models, and Pineapple express are some of my favorite movies of 2008.  Don't judge me based on those picks haha. Because once in a while I'll enjoy a good film that doesn't involve a super hero or pot smoking.  Last night I spent my $12.50 on this movie.  Slumdog Millionaire.  Its an Indian film, about a boy from the slums who made it on the hindi version of "Who Wants to be a Milliionaire?."  He makes it to the final question, but when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating.  He proves his innocence by telling the story of his life in the slum where he grew up.  Each chapter of his life reveals the key to answer one of the game shows questions. This is an intense film and I do recommend it.  Plus, there are tons of MIA songs throughout the film haha.  Check out a  new MIA cut after the trailer ...
